Alpine chic! Chalet Algonquin sleeps up to 14 guests in five large en-suite bedrooms, plus gorgeous traditional wood and stone interior throughout.
The SnowHQ team have been managing Chalet Algonquin since 2011. It is located almost next door to Chalet Le Passeu in the Peisey-Vallandry area, in the beautiful village of Moulin. Chalet Algonquin combines traditional Alpine features with modern chic living.
This beautiful 18th Century building has been wonderfully renovated to an excellent standard, and offers a quirky but cosy feel that everyone will find themselves at home in. It is exactly what you would expect from a ski holiday chalet.
Once inside, you’ll be amazed at the features of the chalet – massive wooden beams overhead, reclaimed timber floorboards underfoot and gorgeous exposed stonework with contemporary furnishings.
The lounge area is spacious, with an traditional wood burning stove, plenty of sofas to relax on, a large flat-screen TV with English channels, games consoles for the kids, and a chalet iPad at your disposal for catching up with friends and family, sending emails and browsing the web. Free wi-fi is available throughout the chalet.
For meals, you’ll find yourself dining at a single large, traditional wooden table – allowing all chalet guests to dine together and catch up on the days skiing in a warm, comfortable environment.
The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests, in five spacious bedrooms – all equipped with a modern en-suite bathroom. The beds can be arranged either as twins or doubles, depending upon your requirements.
There are two triple rooms and one twin/double room on the ground floor. Additionally we have a spacious four bed room that is perfect for families.
The final bedroom, also a twin/double room is located on the first floor, on the same level as the spacious and homely lounge and dining areas.
There is an outdoor ski locker to safely store your gear and ample parking is available directly outside the chalet.
